Capture tasks and ideas
Use Inbox and All Items to keep incoming work from slipping away.
Start with Inbox
Inbox is a place to collect incoming work before you decide how to organise it. Capture the task, thought, or follow-up while it is fresh. You can decide its place in the bigger plan during your next review.
Keep the title specific enough to recognise later. If the idea is still rough, add a short note about why it matters.
Bring the useful details along
Add notes and relevant attachments to the item. Keep a client requirement, a source document, or a question beside the work it relates to, so it is available when you need it.
Capture “Review the onboarding draft” and include the feedback you need to address. The task and the reason behind it stay together.
Turn captured work into a plan
Review Inbox regularly. Decide which items belong in a project, which need a deadline, and which are worth working on today. Use All Items when you want a wider view of the work in your workspace.
Separate the decision to capture something from the decision to do it now. That keeps a new idea from replacing a more important commitment.
